Jenn's got a box of baby clothes she wants to Freecycle, and I thought I'd offer it up here first, since I've asked enough for kid's clothes.

As I'm already going to have to go to the post office next week to pick up a package, I'm 90% certain I'll have my stuff together enough to mail this box out. It's already packed, anyway, just needs stamps and a label.

It's mostly girl (beggers can't be choosers, I'm told) or unisex things, almost all 0-3 months (with some 3-6 months), and almost all cooler weather stuff, some warm for winter, some for fall. So I'd suggest it to those who are pregnant now (or whose friends and family members are pregnant now) and expect a child once the weather turns colder.

Naturally, I'd prefer to give this to people who need it, rather than people who are rolling in money or who have thousands of family members waiting to purchase new clothes and rid themselves of their own hand-me-downs. And if I don't have to mail it (you're in the city, or near enough, or will be visiting before winter), that's a plus.

If nobody replies, I'll freecycle it myself and save myself the cost of stamps. Possibly I'll donate it to charity proper, because I find it unlikely that anybody knows the sex of their baby at three months, and there is some pink in the box. When do they test for that, anyway?

I'm not in need of the clothes (Corbin is 5 months, still fitting into 0-3 stuff, but very much a boy and we have plenty of clothes), but they do an ultrasound between 16-20 weeks to see if it has all of it's needed parts (stomach, bladder, spinal cord, etc) and they can also check the sex at that time. At least I believe the earliest is 16. I had mine at 20 weeks and a few days.

Ooh, also - have you tried calling up like, the Salvation Army? They usually take clothes and such for donations. I know when I was in need of some recieving blankets, they gave me some.
