People are going on complaining about how horrible Lamb was for not letting Weevil walk across the stage.

Now, you know and I know Lamb did it to be a jerk. He timed it perfectly, too.

But come. on.

Look at Cassidy. Even though we have no reason to believe he was going to kill Mac (no purpose behind that, is there?), and he had no way of knowing anybody was on to him (covered his tracks pretty well!)... he still had a gun with him after graduation.

Do these people honestly believe that the police should avoid arresting murderers until they've had their special moment? What if Weevil had a weapon? What if he found a way to just bolt in the confusion of graduation? What if he got up on stage and took the Principal hostage? What if, what if, what if?

As far as Lamb knows, Weevil killed Thumper directly. (And we all know he set Thumper up to be killed.)

What sort of shitty cop would he be (more so than he already is) to let the murderer have five minutes to settle his affairs before being arrested?

Honestly, sometimes fans have no sense, none at all.

I suspect the 'fans' would say that I just "don't get it" ...

I like VM. But I have my own life.

a socially approved form of perseveration.

Pretty much how I view it all.

And I generally don't care at all. So long as it doesn't intrude on my life unnecessarily - which is usually the case :)

That reminds me of last year when everyone thought Veronica was Such A Horrible Person for 'betraying' Logan when she thought he was Lilly's killer.

Oh but those things were different, you see, because none of them involved sweet, darling Logan. *eyeroll*

Well the counselor's office did. But it resulted in a squee moment with the "you know, Veronica was my friend too" thing, so that was okay. And I'm still rolling my eyes. I mean, sure I'd watch them have sex, but this season has pretty much cemented my belief that Logan is just an asshole.

My reaction was, well, we all know Lamb is an evil shit, but Weevil did kill Thumper (even if he didn't do it directly, ie, with a gun to his head) and the police aren't going to observe the niceties of graduation and delay arresting him for that. Even non-evil police.

Damn you and your common sense!
I was so sad for Weevil not graduation, he was soooo proud. The fact that he in-directly killed another person sort of.... slipped my mind.

I was mad at Lamb, but I don't blame him for arresting Weevil. If he was gonna do it, though, and he had suspicions, a crowded graduation ceremony is NOT the place. That's mostly why I was mad; he should had arrested him before he put on the cap and gown.

I can't decide if I hope Lamb was actually on the plane with Woody or not, though. He's a total jerk, but he has his moments of goodness (when he let Duncan and Veronica off after they broke into the Mannings, for example) and he's a really fun character.

*finally gets back to answering comments* Sorry.

I'm mad at Lamb for arresting Weevil, but not because I think Weevil is saintly by any means. Weevil broke the law, and deserved to get arrested, but I like him and aside from the motorcycle gang and drug dealing and working in a chop shop, he's sort of a good guy, for a criminal. I wish Lamb would go be a dick to the mean criminals that don't take care of their grandmas and little cousins and stick up for picked on girls.

I just have a weak spot for anti-heroes, I think. I adore Logan, bad spots and all, and wanted him and Veronica to get back together all season, even after the vandalism stuff and all the other things he had going.
