#7 is no better. I imagine the adults who don't have an autism diagnosis but qualify for one are busy trying to LIVE, and don't necessarily have the time and resources to get that diagnosis.
Ah, yes, that irks me as well. On top of the issue of undiagnosed adults, there've been a number of things found wrong with the '1 in 166' statistic to begin with, if I recall what I've read.
