It's a device to go over the front wheel of a (kid's) bike to keep it from falling over. A way to learn to ride a bike without training wheels. Naturally, they don't make such things for adults, but I'm sure it's coming.

Yeah... I'd really like to learn to ride a bike, but my sense of balance seriously needs work... :-\

That's the reason I quit riding. Seriously, it's just not *safe* out there!

I'd love one of those for my (adult) bike. I've finally learned to balance again while looking straight ahead (I think), but as soon as I turn my head, the whole bike flies out from under me.
