The best, I swear!

Ana's been a letter-identifying fiend lately. It's great. And I want to capitalize on this as much as possible.

You all remember that game you played when a kid, where somebody'd put an object in a bag or a box, and you had to guess what it was by feeling it, right?

Now, if I had several bags, I could combine this with "alphabet" and... well, it'd be fun.

(I also want to make a book, but that can wait.)

So, please - post away! Any sort of object that could be stored in a bag and that feels nice and distinct and that starts with a letter (nothing unnamed, thanks :P) would be great. Especially I. I have no I. And O. My O (oval things?) sucks.

I have a list already, but I left it at Jenn's. I'll see if I can reconstruct it.

Edit: Other letters are good too. And the "double letter sounds" sh, ch, and th. Just because.

No oranges or ice cubes?

Orange! And hm. Is there any way to put ice into a bag without it melting? It's hard to think of things for those letters, indeed, and the simple lists of English words and picturable English words on Wikipedia didn't give anything extra.

You've stumped me. Orange, sure, but "I"?

No clue. Sorry, that wasn't very helpful. :D

Well, the others already stated my ideas.

since there arent too many nouns that you can really use for that purpose that begin with "i" maybe you can somehow integrate the word imagination. perhaps put nothing in the bag, or something that she cant identify and when she tells you "i dont know" you can respond with "use your imagination" and then inform her that imagination begins with "i".

its not too likely that she would know incense by its feel, and iguana is more known as lizard at that age as well as insect is known as bug and infant as baby. if she has a doll with a pair of removable ice skates that would work. if not youll definitely have to be creative on that one.

or if you go with the empty bag and dont like imagination you could go with invisible or just plain old inside since shes feeling the inside of the bag. just a few ideas.
