When you chew gum, stop spitting it out on the ground! And stop sticking it to chairs and tables, especially if you can't even be bothered to put it on the *underside* of whatever surface you're sticking it to!

THROW IT OUT. Or, if there isn't a garbage near you, wrap it up in some paper and wait to throw it out. Or swallow it. I promise, it won't remain in your stomach for the next decade. You can even stick it on your nose or forehead for all I care, or spit it onto the floor at home. Just stop doing it in public. Some of us don't want to be near your nasty germs, thanks.

SERIOUSLY.

It's not that freaking difficult. All it does is prove that humanity really is one of the filthiest species out there. *grumbles*

Nothing quite like sitting at a desk and touching gum that's still wet and still smells minty. Mmm-mmm!

Amen, amen.

One of my most gigantic pet peeves. Also, it is irritating when you are just finishing a roller coaster, and at the very end where the car slows down to a stop, there is a wall full of gum. People think it's funny to have a wall decorated with dried up, colorful pieces of chewed gummy material. But really, it's just gross.

Germs aside, it shows a lack of respect for one's immediate environment.

I'm sorry to bother you about this here, but [livejournal.com profile] anecdote has unfairly banned me from the book community.

Here are the circumstances of what happened:

A person [livejournal.com profile] beach_baby300 has been posting their stories in the community, which most people don't like.

All I did was make comments saying I liked the stories, in the posts that person had made. The link is here:

http://community.livejournal.com/books/1033099.html?view=7077003#t7077003

Two comments have been deleted. The first deleted comment was made by [livejournal.com profile] anecdote. The next deleted comment down was made by me, the text of my comment that got deleted was:

"I love you stories and so do a lot of other people.

You are a valued member of this community and should continue to post your work.

As a writer you are going to face challenges on your road to success. One of the challenges is to ignore all the negative people who insult and criticize you. (People like [livejournal.com profile] anecdote and [livejournal.com profile] pico_the_great) Just ignore people like that, they're only jealous of your talent and want to see you hide your light under a bushel."

I recovered the text of this deleted comment because many people responded to it. A lot of their comments got deleted too, only two are left. [livejournal.com profile] anecdote also replied to my comment with this:

"I'm not criticising; as a mod, I'm saying that this isn't appropriate for the community. You're a pugnacious one, aren't you?"

That was mysteriously deleted also, a long with the other comments. I assume this was done by [livejournal.com profile] anecdote because the only comments deleted were the ones that made her look bad. Then I noticed I was banned. I did not do anything except express my opinion that I liked the stories. I have been a member of [livejournal.com profile] books for a while now, and I feel like this is completely unfair.

I admit beach_baby3000 may be in the community to stir up trouble with his stories. But I am not. You can look at all the previous comments I've made on posts for the past months now and see that. All I did was make nice comments to someone who I assumed at the time was a young kid.
