Just caught up on the last four or so episodes of Lost.

Y'know... this show is a lot better when you're out of your mind from lack of sleep. I think I'll always have to watch this show this way.

And the Others - I had wondered why they were only sometimes scruffy and dirty. Now I know. They have a props department. Maybe they also have a special effects department, and this is how they got all their torches to light up so fast.

Why do they have a props department? Seriously, who sets down on a deserted island and says "You know what we need? We need to play dress-up! YEAH!"? Who does that?

Then again, maybe I really just don't want to know.

i suspect the props department had already been discovered by several of the people there--either that or there's a hidden salon on the other side of the island where they get their perfect hair done...

Leads one to think that they were prepared for the losties to end up on the island and the whole thing is some giant psych experiment.
