I don't have the manual dexterity (or patience?) to do braids for my daughter. And she was always shy about hair off her neck because she has a strawberry hemangioma (I can't spell it -- a raised birthmark) on it and she's embarassed. Used to be the size of a golfball, is now smaller.

So she wears it loose, like I do.

And the boys? I buzz all their heads. Even Dan's! :D
