It's weird how most of this stuff seems to almost completely ignore the existence of lesbians, and I've never heard bisexuals mentioned (probably because they think that the opposite-sex attraction portion of bisexuality is the "real" sexual orientation trying to "break free" or some such nonsense).
The notion that homosexuality is caused by a distant father and overbearing mother would be funny if it was being perpetuated by a small group with no political clout. Most of the gay or bi men I know have wonderful relationships with their fathers (and mothers).
