Not that I understand why people would *want* to join the military, but... Really, with their enlistment numbers starting to drop, can they afford this policy?

I used to work with a guy who determined to get himself discharged from the Air Force when he realized that he could get court martialed for a blowjob from his girlfriend. (He managed it, too.)

Many people join the military in order to pay for college. Some join because they want to go out and "get" the people they believe attacked their country on 9/11. Some just want to "serve their country."

When I said I didn't understand, I meant that in a non-literal sense, as in "I disapprove of this idea, and think that it's less than perfectly intelligent, as it can lead to your death and the deaths of others". Sorry.
