So, we went to the Zoo.

Ana went on her very first ever pony ride. She wasn't too sure she liked it, but she didn't actively dislike it either. Just went round and around a few times. This was after she went crazy hyper trying to see everything at once, and before she fell straight asleep. Oh, and after we determined that goats snub me, while eagerly eating anything proferred by the kid.

Also, can anybody reccommend some decent online sign language dictionaries for lizziey? Something with better design than this (which is British Sign Language anyway, but that's not the point), where the creators obviously thought we'd all appreciate having to scroll over unlabelled buttons to see what they say.

Michigan State University's ASL Browser (http://commtechlab.msu.edu/sites/aslweb/) is the one that everyone in my ASL class recommends. In fact, MSU has been recommended for learning any language.

Which reminds me that I want an icon that represents ASL.

Actually, she's a miniscule bit calmer, reading to the kid now. So she might leave at :53? I'm not sure. Not in two minutes, anyway.

hey, mind posting asking for something more toddler aimed? especially a toddler who is really working hard to catch up in speech? (should be getting his hearing aids in june/july)? i would post it, but you have a much broader scope. :)

Really, I think what you ought to do is view the dictionaries for *several* different sign languages, and adapt the signs to your needs. Or, if that's not what you want to do, actually learn ASL and use that.

You could try asking in one of the sign language comms here.
