Oh, yes, I see. Well, acid reflux is minor compared to some of the other things that could be going on, so while it's not a happy thing, it's not likely to leave him with permanent psychological or physical scars.

Mmmmmmmmm. I'm sure that part of my intrinsic reaction is due to the stuff that xigaroo pointed me to, and part is due to the fact that child I spend the most time with, who is ulitave's daughter, was that large practically out of the womb.

No, I don't mean that literally, of course, but still--she's easily more than a foot taller than anyone in her class, and is actually taller than the man I am engaged to, and she's 11 years old. I think she has warped my view of what children are 'supposed' to look like. If she's on the far upside of average, then obviously there have to be kids on the other side to help maintain the average--right?
