Date: 2005-03-24 12:06 pm (UTC)During the few months that I volunteered on the support board, I saw a particular piece of misinformation offered more than once, and it had to do with the "Default View" custom group.
More than one person was advised that if they created this "Default View" group, that the entries made by those people would be the only entries to be viewable on their friends list, by anyone. In fact, "default view" only works if you're currently logged in as the user with the list in question. View your friends list logged out, or logged in as another user, and every single person and community on your F-list will show up.
Will you start correcting thatmisapprehension where ever you see it? Pretty please? Or am I smoking crack, and has such a thing never been advocated?
