Medical visit for one of the kids? If so you can get their mom or dad to write a brief letter next time they are in your care and have them give you a copy of their medical cards.(I'm assuming you have some sort of medical coverage cards there like we do here) That should be enough information. I've had to do that before when I worked as a nanny. Though for other things you might need a copy of their birth certificate with the note.
