Hee. Of the 150 people we took pictures of for the yearbook, I'd guess fifty of them were wearing a blazer with trousers. Actually, that's what I'm wearing right now. Guess my school's just full of gender-questioning people. Oh, and last year one girl went to prom in a suit- no-one had a problem.

I liked the bit where a misplaced closing quotation mark made the mother out as the lesbian.

Her mother seems cool though.

I think it is about uniformity. I think part of the problem people have about homosexuality is that it's people acting differently. Ooooh, they're different! How scary.

I met somebody once who summed it up very nicely for me. She thought lesbians were icky because "sometimes they kiss! With their tongues!"

Of course, she happened to be ten at the time, a friend of my young friend Elise, which really explains where the minds of most homophobes are.
