Occasionally, people ask "So, Connie. As a rich person with lots of money, I want to buy you a present. But you're so lucky! What can I get you for your birthday?"
Okay, nobody asks that, but I'd like to know more people who do, thanks. Let's keep pretending here...
I'm so glad you asked that! Or are pretending you did! If you're a member of my family, you have special instructions which you don't care about. Otherwise, if you're really confused...
You can pick out a toy for Ana. I'm not likely to see Seth, so don't worry about him. I'm especially interested in the toy "real items" for her. The fake cleaning supplies should be a big hit, she doesn't know yet that you're not supposed to like sweeping and washing. She just knows that she's being like her parents.
Also, the "little people" items look good, and the toy coffee pot. Not everything on the list is actually suited for a 2-year-old, please check the age range - some of that stuff is just me planning for her next birthday, or stuff that I put on there when she was younger and didn't take off, or occasionally stuff that's just there for the sake of completeness.
There are also some magazine subscriptions I/Ana would like.
And a ridiculously long list of board books. And, um, other books.
So, now you know. What do I want for my birthday, other than a winning lottery ticket? I want stuff for Ana.
And this is why I can never have kids.
