I don't trust shit, but I am morbidly pleased that "chuck" already rhymes with "fuck".

I have yet to see anything in Schumer's career that suggests he's that kind of maneuverer. My own senators, who I do trust voted no, and Nancy Pelosi, one of the stronger Speakers we've had in my lifetime (whatever her faults), encouraged Schumer to hold the whip and vote no. Much savvier political commentators than I whose policies I generally agree with are all spitting mad (Biden and Obama-era apparatchiks included).

I'd like to believe he's capable of the 4d chess everyone seems to think Trump is playing, but given the evidence, I can't.
