The neighbors halfway down across the street had a screaming fight for over ninety minutes

And I don't mean they screamed a bit, stopped a bit, screamed some more. No, it was nonstop, increasingly-hoarse screaming for over an hour and a half.

Some of my neighbors, I just don't like.

You'd think they'd get tired... we are lucky, for the most part our beighbours are quiet but one rather boganish guy down the road, usually quite okay and friendly, gets argumentative every so often with his next doors...

But he's always polite to Sis and I.

My next door neighbors to one side have an annual spills-into-the-street extended family spat, usually around Christmastime. The rest of the cul-de-sac adapts an "....awkwarrrrrd" position about those. Which is to say, I know how that feels, and I'm sorry you're dealing with that.

My condo complex had a curious layout. The buildings were in blocks of four, joined in offsets so that there was a little common area where the bathroom windows opened into a green area. I had neighbors that got drunk and started screaming at each other. I Can't count the number of times I called 911 on them, and I was working at the police department at the time!

Ooof. That's a pretty good indicator that those people probably shouldn't be in the same space together.
