And you ARE all the best, never doubt it!
but then Jenn reminded me of something I kinda wanted to forget, and I guess I'd better loop everybody without the rather dubious privilege of being on the access list on the family troubles that have been plaguing me since... god, since April. I've been getting nightmares, I may have said.
So, short story, my mother is sick, she's been bounced between the hospital and a short term facility, also she nearly died at least once, and now she's going to another short term facility but since she's used up her full insurance coverage we're stuck with a copay of $97 a day. Thus, while technically we now have enough money to buy groceries, I'll admit that we could definitely still use some help. I had managed to totally forget that, amazingly enough, but only through willful denial. Guess that's done now.
If you really want the full details you can ask to be on the access list, which I haven't updated in forever, but I'll be honest with you - especially over the past four months it's mostly just been me bitching and moaning about my mother and, occasionally, about her health care. And then sometimes I quote somebody from /r/whatsthatbook because I'm continually amused and amazed by the things people there say, but I don't like to make fun of them in public.
Sigh. I'd better also go update my access-only "this is my address" stickied post so as to include paypal and venmo information.
You are, as always, all the best and I love everybody.
