Well, yes. In one application it relates to a taking away and in the other to an acquisition.

I feel like there should be a punctuation mark there to help separate things so that it reads better.

I love how the pun is subtle enough it looks like it might possibly be an accident...but "in the end" makes me confident it's deliberate wordplay. I don't know if they intended to imply any wordplay with the Hebrew noun "get" (divorce document.) I suspect that bit was accidental.)
