That "human stripes" tumblr thread ... learning about Blaschko's lines was interesting, but I'm still not sure about the "cats can see them on humans" part ... I didn't see any explanation of *how* cats can see them, nor any link to anything that gave more detail, and when I did a quick websearch nothing turned up.

Humans can see them under UV light. New research suggests cats can see things in UV that we can't - and presumably any animal that can see into the UV, out of our range, could see those stripes.
