Well, I sat *on* the couch, but yes, that's where she went. She didn't want to be alone in the room with the scary storm outside. Everybody else was standing at the back door helping A divest themself of their absolutely sopping clothing.

This was my question too -- I was trying to picture the couch that could accommodate an adult underneath while still feeling safe for a dog. :-)
