And actually, he's quite a good teacher. But this is an intro class, and a summer class, and I doubt people are used to writing 6 pages for core classes. I think he outlines are to make sure people have some idea what they're writing about. He's not VERY detailed with the outlines, but he does want to make sure we know what we're talking about. I'll post the list of topics later too, so you know what I mean.
