Missed the Wagner portfolio review
Jan. 10th, 2019 04:48 pmHappily, they have a single makeup on the 15th. Wagner is pretty far down on our list, being a big school, but it's fairly well regarded on the Island so we'll try to make it out there next week. I don't know why taking two buses seems like such a great hardship compared to taking a bus AND a boat AND a train or more for the same amount of time, but it does.

Date: 2019-01-11 09:01 am (UTC)Ferries = motion sickness, buses = tremendous time waste along never-ending circuitous routes to go places that take minutes via one's own transportation, trains = deeply discomfiting/loud/noisy/weird (then again, I'm thinking of NYC subways; I don't recall using the LIRR).
The only problem with NY bus drivers is how they take things on two wheels, especially corners. So buses always feel like they'll tip. I've spent my whole life telling myself it's just an adventure, like what you see on The Dukes of Hazard, to get through it.
