I went downstairs to get something. I knew I'd be back up soon, so I closed the living room door behind me specifically to keep Finn upstairs. But he's a problem solver! It took me a little longer to find the thing than I expected, and meanwhile Finn had patiently pawed the door open and padded down after me. By the time I got back upstairs he had gotten downstairs and freaked out over being abandoned like that.

I felt so bad that after I rescued him from his howling misery I gave him a chewie. And Moonpie got one too, because I'm not a monster. No cats were around or I would've treated them as well.

Have you seen this mysterious post floating around Tumblr? A rescue plan from an unknown site which will import all Tumblr posts and have most of Tumblr's features and is NOT Pillowfort/Soup/whatever AND will be ready by December 10? I am very, very skeptical.

I've heard some people refer to "Baby, It's Cold Outside" as "the most date-rapey song of all time" but I think "I Gotcha" by Joe Tex is worse. (It's got nothing to do with Xmas, though.)

I’ve been talking to two developers now and got them working together, we just had a meeting with the guys behind an existing large (millions of users) site similar to Tumblr, with a vibrant and open-minded community, and more importantly, it has open-minded owners who believe in free speech.

Maybe it’s Reddit? I still think it’s BS, but that’s the only one I can think of that might fit.
