conulyI am sure that Albus Dumbledore has better things to do with his time than to play matchmaker with his students. (And why is it always Dumbledore? I could see Lockhart or Slughorn engaging in this sort of creepy behavior, but Dumbledore? He's neither realistic nor interesting. Snape playing matchmaker, that'd be hilarious. Dumbledore? Not so much.)

Or to make peace in the Slytherin common room, either when he was a student or when he was house master. I'm surprised we don't see more of him shoving Draco in Harry's direction saying, "just get it out of your systems already".
