I was typing up something on family stories, and ten minutes in I realized that even though I have quite a lot to say on the subject of children's literature, none of it really was coalescing into anything vaguely resembling a point. I was just blathering.

And I still want to say it, but not if it doesn't go anywhere. That's just going to ultimately bore me and you.

So I'm going to bore both of us with my whining, which at least isn't nearly as long-winded!

I think journal entries are exactly for talking without making a point. I wouldn't be bothered reading an entry like that, anyhow. (And now you have me curious as to your thoughts!)

That can be frustrating. Maybe it is still just working itself out in your mind and will come out more coherently later.

Eh. It's percolating in the back of your brain, eventually it may bubble up in to something coherent.

Maybe select one small piece of it and make a micro-point, which people can then respond to or not as they like?
