I have very strong opinions on this that one should always opt for ice cream when given the chance

And I assume that isn't the sort of "opposite sides of the park" where you could just walk a few blocks straight across, but either it's significantly further as the crow flies, or it's only close for a crow, not for people who can't fly across the lake.

Yes. Plus, I get lost really very easily. It is just too likely I'll get turned around and end up back where I started.
