and that fact, by the way, is the only reason I even know the word "coterminous".
Anyway, there are lots of things on Staten Island named Richmond whatever - Richmond Terrace, Richmond Road, Richmond Avenue.... I had a thing to do on Richmond Terrace, which is a little inconvenient but doable, but when I double checked the address it was all the way at the far end of Richmond Road instead. Not doable. So I had to call them and fix it today, the day of. I hate doing that, but it all worked out.
Richmond Road, incidentally, is chock full of weird sections where you'd think the street is dead-ending into another street, but instead it's the *other* street that ends and Richmond makes a hard right turn to take over what, logically, ought to be that other street. It's hard to describe, but picture the letter T. If the top of the T is Street A and the bottom of the T is Richmond, then where they meet Street A would become Richmond after the intersection. It's weird and I do not know why Staten Island is just fucking like this.
