Well, that was scary

I do believe we just had an earthquake.

Google suggests a 4.8 earthquake hit just west of Manhattan

and people felt it through Boston and Philadelphia as well.

And now I just got an emergency alert about the earthquake

We're not in an earthquake-prone area, I don't really expect alerts before the quake occurs... but half an hour later seems a bit silly.
