Forget gambling, or drug dealing, or bank robbery, or blackmail, or being a contract killer.
No, there is a vast and apparently untapped market in the world of compassionate petnapping. So many people out there wringing their hands about their neighbor's unloved pets! And I bet any one of them would be glad to pay a professional to rehome those poor animals, and feel a great sense of moral satisfaction on top of it. No need to scruple too much about it either - it's practically not even a crime, more like charity!
