Eva does have a Castle complaint...
May. 6th, 2023 02:37 pmwhich is that the fanfic she's found does not seem to properly grasp the Castle/Beckett relationship dynamics.
Apparently there are a lot of people watching some entirely different show where Kate doesn't gleefully toss Castle in the backseat of her police car when he annoys her, and that's not the way he likes it.
I guess.
Anyway, does anybody have any recs? The important thing here is that she's my niece, and also a kid, but also my niece, so nothing with any sex depicted on-screen. If it's not fade-to-black, I don't share it with her and she doesn't share it with me. That is our mutual reccing rule.
Also, I suppose, nothing that totally spoils the last few seasons.

Been watching Castle with Eva

1. If somebody offers you a bribe in order to keep you from blowing the whistle on them, for goodness sake - accept it! You can always leave the office a million dollars richer and then blow the whistle on them anyway. Honor is great and all, but there's no honor in being stupid.
2. If you think you can carefully stage a dead body in an alley in Manhattan so it's hanging off of a fire escape in some dramatic way, and get away from the scene after without being spotted, you've got another think coming. Yeah, even aside from the fact that there are no alleys in the city, that episode was implausible. I can't even walk the dogs at 3am on Staten Island without bumping into half a dozen people, how're you gonna hang a body from a fire escape without twice as many people taking pictures and telling you how to do it better?
