Oh! I forgot!

One of the kids sat down on the ground to pet the dogs, and Moonpie actually climbed on her lap. It used to be very clear, even to the youngest or least observant child, that Moonpie was only tolerating attention from them (and not for very long, because if the kids didn't switch their attention to the much more enthusiastic Finn, I would remove Moonpie entirely. It's neither fair nor safe to let children swarm a dog who just isn't enjoying it.)

But now, look at her! She runs up and greets other dogs, she is excited about meeting children (whom she already knows) - she's grown so much as a person in the past few years!
