God, what a day.

Dropped the kids off with their dad. A few hours later, picked the kids up from their dad. Listened to a litany of "I don't want to do swimming, I don't want to go out to the park Thursday, I don't want to do my sole school assignment today and I don't want to make up any schoolwork on the weekend either, I don't want to walk at anything even approximating a reasonable pace, I don't want you to hold my hand to get me to walk faster, you can't make me, I don't want to be polite and you can't make me!!!!"

Ugh. And then we get home from swimming and it's all smiles and "Can we have our computer time now?"
