I missed the first part of this conversation, but Eva had said something about her father, and this other little kid had replied that she wouldn't see her father or something like that.

Eva: Oh, no! Is he working?
Little Girl: No. I -
Eva: Are your parents divorced?
LG: No, listen -
Eva: Is he in the army?
LG: NO!
Eva: Is he dead?
LG: WHAT? NO, listen!
Eva: Then how can this be?
LG: Well, I -
Eva: Oh, I know. You must have two mothers!
LG: Yes! How did you guess?

Same-sex marriage. Very confusing for young children. Or something. (Funny, neither Eva nor Ana looked confused at this answer.)
