On income inequality in the US.

At this point, I cannot see how anybody can justify that. It's not about morals, or justice, or whether you think it's more fair to share or more fair to tax everybody in the exact same way. (The argument that progressive taxes are somehow unfair has always seemed like a funny sort of fairness to me, but that's beside the point.) All those are good arguments, but more importantly, I think it's plain that the system right now is unstable. How long can it possibly go on like this, assuming that is even remotely accurate? I always get end of days-y in winter, but seriously, how does this look like a secure and healthy situation for our economy to be in?
