Here's an article about the TV battle for toddlers/preschoolers. If the average child between ages 2 and 5 watches 32 hours of TV a week (32????) that's, what, 4.5 hours a day? That's a third of their waking life! And that's the average - plenty of kids aren't allowed nearly that much television, so they must have counterparts who watch, like, all the time.
