There's another one, that's not so cute, and that requires spoiler warnings, so I won't cut the whole thing. Just the spoilers.
We were at the ETC, and looking at a book we eventually bought, Who Sank the Boat.
In the story, we're told a cow, a horse, a pig, a sheep, and a mouse went on the water one day. And every page, we're asked "Do you know who sank the boat?" or, "Was it so-and-so?" with an explanation of how so-and-so is nearly sinking the boat (but not quite). Of course, the one who sank the boat was the ( Spoiler! ). When I read the book to Angelique, at the first question, I stopped and asked her if she knew. And she said it right out - the ( Spoiler! ) Of course, she was right, proving that she has a clear grasp of this narrative convention. I was impressed :)
