Never use sticky ace bandages again. EVER. They itch.

See, a few days ago, I did something weird to my ankle* while walking out of the SICM. I couldn't fix it then, so I decided to bandage it up when I got home. Except when I got home, I didn't know where the ace bandage was, and I was feeling better anyway, so I didn't do anything. Over the next few days, I'd periodically feel it again, but then it'd get better. I knew I should just tape it up, but I didn't.

Well. Today, walking out of the supermarket, it totally failed on me, I couldn't put any weight on it. I had to go do the drugstore anyway, so I hopped my way over there across the parking lot, called my family, and waited (on one foot!) for the store to open in another half an hour. It just didn't make sense to have my family come down and bring me a bandage for me to go up and down hills anyway. Store opened, I hopped myself in, and the first thing I said was "Hey, you! Can you get me an ace bandage so I don't have to hop my way to the back of the store?" Bought it, sat down, put it on...

And eventually it itched so bad I replaced it with my mom's bandage, which is traditional and non-sticky. I didn't realize how badly it was itching until I took it off and it didn't feel better yet.

So now you know. Sticky bandages - bad idea.

*Doing something weird to my ankle happens to me on a semi-regular basis. I ought to know better than to leave it by now, but clearly I don't.
