But Ana was cranky and miserable to be around for all the afternoon. I cannot win!

You know that Japanese toilet training video?

( You know, the one that people watch and then say  )

(I just realized I can embed stuff, but I bethought it wise to cut it anyway.)

Anyway, once I saw the version with subtitles... I have to say, this seems pretty... well, normal. People do some crazy stuff to get their kids to use the toilet.

Okay, the talking pee and poo is still a little bizarre - but if I thought it would work, I'd be pushing the idea on everybody I knew with an appropriately-aged child.

So maybe Japan isn't so weird after all?
