Every time I head to the bookstore, I read myself silly - only to see more books I just have to read. At this rate, I will have read through the entirety of B&N's stock (at union square) by the end of summer.

And now I'm irked, too. All I really want to do is curl up with a good John Bellairs, but I can't find any of ours. I think they may be in the attic, which means they're a lost cause. We have a few Stricklands lying about, but it's just not the same. I miss John Bellairs. And I go to the bookstore, and they don't have anything by him either. I may have to order them. *sniffles*

They also don't have anything by John Marsden. Maybe they just don't like anybody named John? They're stealing my childhood!!!!!

You know what's disconcerting?

Browsing an entry of a friend's, and seeing comments from some other friend when you didn't realize that the two friends knew each other. Especially when the entry in question was locked.

So, just to increase the fear factor for me (and it does startle me every time I see it!), let's have everybody introduce each other, and plot to take over the... um, internet.
