See here for why.

There are two forms of making paragraphs. One is the style I use informally, especially here in my blog. You type for a while, then hit enter twice to start a new paragraph. Simple.

The other form goes: type a while, hit enter ONCE, and hit space five times. This form is prefered in essays and whatnot, but it doesn't work too well on LiveJournal because extra spaces disappear. So, if you're going to use this form (and I assume that's what she was trying to do), please do the code for a space instead. What is it, &nb sp; (without a space)? Otherwise, you come up with a mess.

And this is a Proper Name, so it's perfectly reasonable for me to make corrections.

There is no period in the name Harry S Truman. Really. The S doesn't stand for anything, it isn't an abbreviation, his middle name really is just plain old S. So, when writing his name, do NOT put a dot after the S because his middle name is really. just. S.

Got it? Let's practice.

Harry S Truman

Good. Glad we all have this down. If you don't think you can remember, try this:

Harry Truman
Harry Truman
Harry Truman

Everybody will know who you mean, even if you skip the middle name (which, as we all know, is NOT short for anything and is merely S).

This is the sort of thing I prefer in fiction, if it's all the same to you, Shrubboy....

I won't even attempt to comment until I have more information.

In other news, I have no internet. So updates may be sporadic until my mom gets home and pays the bill.
