Got some shirts. Managed to find some good jeans (finally) at $9, which would be a better price if it weren't at the Lot Store (read: the really cheap discount store, which explains why I'm so amazed that they're good jeans). Unfortunately, the pair I bought fit Jenn instead of me, so I'm going back tomorrow.

Oh, and Jenn had a conniption today. I'm not allowed to give the details, but it has to do with this.

Looking at that site, and the baby I saw today, I have this to say:

1. None of those pictures show the babies with any sort of parental contact, so I don't know how it helps babies "bond more".
2. Dear god, that thing must be impossible to clean! Y'know, the first baby bottles had tubes between the bottles and the nipples. Yeah, and a lot of those babies died because their bottles NEVER GOT CLEANED.
3. There are no capitals in the phrase "parental supervision". It is neither a proper noun nor a trademark.

Anyway, as I said, Jenn had a conniption. And I'm not allowed to describe it. Which is a pity, it was kinda funny (except that the people in question never heard any of it, because Jenn has manners. So she just rants to me, and do *I* need to hear this, when you're just preaching to 1. the converted and 2. the person who is NEVER HAVING KIDS?)

So the 1/9 will FINALLY be able to open more than "the first five cars, you MUST be in one of the first five cars to exit at south ferry, only the first five cars will open at south ferry...."

Linky!

Oh, and yes, that's the Staten Island Ferry in my icon. Great place to blow bubbles.

Question!

Why do people define "speaking to oneself" as crazy? If you're speaking to yourself, you're just thinking. I mean, that's all thoughts are, right, a way of communicating with yourself? Especially if your thoughts are in words, that's speaking silently to yourself.

It's when you're speaking to people who aren't there that we should worry, but that's not what anybody says. They say "speaking to himself", like that's something strange.

Oh, and what about hearing/seeing things? What else is one expected to hear and see other than things??? Why not just say "hallucinating", which is the actual word, or, if you MUST use a convoluted expression, try "hearing/seeing things which aren't there". Unless, of course, they are there, and we're the crazy ones who don't know that....
