And Brave New World. And, a commercial for Stargate... Atlantis? Um, what? Did I completely miss this? What is this, when is this, is it any good, do we know if it's any good yet, why haven't I heard about it?

Time to go begging for people to modify my icons (pleasepleaseplease?)

Well, just one to start, the one I'm using (I'm also working on my ducky icon, but for later...)

I happened to find a quote relating to this very bridge, which I've only loved my whole life, and while I don't think the entire quote is appropriate I think something short and simple like "spanned with a poem" on my icon would be nice. Not my icon, sorry, somebody else's that I'm using.

So, um, help?

Let's make this perfectly, stunningly, absolutely crystal clear. Complaining about the people who post just to say first post (which is in itself a fine and glorious tradition) is not at ALL the same as starting a genocide. Or perhaps several genocides, since several groups were attacked. Let's have a little bit of perspective, shall we?

Did I miss the memo redefining "livejournal community? Seriously, how dense do you have to be to not understand the point of putting separate subjects in separate areas. If you want to combine them all in the SAME area, you could try posting in your own livejournal for a change.

Another meme modification...

There's one going around now that has people guessing songs by lyrics you post in your journal. Unfortunately, I tend to listen to "classical" music (actually, most of it is Baroque....) and don't often have words to post.

So I decided to go with somewhat snobby option two and just post lines from poems I like and have memorized. One point for guessing the poet, one for guessing the title, three for guessing both. Winner gets a whole lot of points.

( Like anybody ever reads these things. I could be babbling, and nobody would care )
