To some of my friends...

I know this is supposed to be a happy time, and I know it doesn't always work out that way. But I'm wishing my friends the best of holidays anyway, and *hugs* on demand.

And that sounds cheesy, but I'm trying to express a sentiment here, not write poetry.

Well, I was gonna leave a phone post, me singing a christmas carol...

But my throat still hurts too much. So you just have to imagine I'm singing. *pretends to sing*

Good thing about this? Your imagination is almost certainly better than the reality.

Anyway, we're looking forward to a gray and wet christmas... lots of rain, no snow yet. I'd love it if there were snow, actually... with luck, I could get to Silver Lakes and steal somebody's sled... Never did go sledding :(

And today I get to see Seth and Ana. And Jenn and 'dul and Lizziey and (duh) my mom. *huggles all* Might see Gabe as well. Not sure. Pity we aren't exchanging gifts until the 6th, but that's what we get for Little Christmas. Luckily, the check from the financial aid came in, so I have just enough for a gift for the babies. *nodnodnod*

Oh, and I'm sending out little christmas gifts to Xiggy and Darkly and Fjorab and Figgy later this week. Still not sure what to get everyone...

Do you guys like marzipan? How about scarves/hats? Would you like a homemade scarf/hat? Or something vaguely touristy?
