Angandfam. Poor her, she just got a diagnosis of PDD-NOS (I think) for her kid. My guess, based on what I've read, is that she's more autistic than I am, but not nearly as much as some other people. So I've been making a few comments, not overly many, about my sensory issues etc. in an attempt to help her help her daughter. She thanked me, not a problem. Of course, the problem is that I don't know that what relates to me relates also to her daughter. For example, her daughter takes off her shoes the moment she gets in the house, wears sandals all summer, HATES her shoes. So I mentioned that I can't wear shoes that are very heavy (like nike sneakers) or too stiff or that I can't feel the ground in, that this might be a problem. Tennis shoes were the answer for me for a LONG time. Plus I could take the laces out easily (a great plus when you can't tie your shoes....) But while I'm glad to help, I worry that I might be giving her erroneous information as far as her daughter goes... maybe for her it's something completely different? Should I add a disclaimer next time I comment? Or something? *worries unnecessarily*

At any rate, the only thing I said which I feel people might find mildly insulting is that she needs to VERY CAREFULLY check out any program for her kid. Quite a few of those are abusive, and people just don't check. I can't imagine how they can be so stupid, but I mentioned the need to make surprise visits while class is in session.

This could be a terrifying new addiction... and a reason for me to ask for a paid account for my birthday and/or christmas! 10x the syndication points! And only $25 a year!

If you're not willing to go that far, go sign up for the boondocks or sinfest in syndication, make the cost go down for me, 'k?

We had a big fight.

Well, no, but all my posting was starting to irritate ME when I checked out my friends page. So I took myself off. But I still show up!!! Why???

They do a lot of flash movies about the media... quite funny, really, if sad (assuming they happen to be true). Go watch. Entertain yourselves.
