School update
Oct. 14th, 2003 03:03 pmI went to the first professor (the one who'd emailled me) before class, I actually left Am. Gov. early to be sure to catch her, the convo went like this:
"Um, excuse me, are you Kris Belden?"
"Yes."
"I have a problem... I've been going to the wrong class all term (embarassed giggle)"
Apparently, this has happened to other people, they've already got a system set up between the two of them, I talked to my professor afterwards, it's settled, I just need to make a notation on my midterm, final, and project.
*huge sigh of relief*
I take all this as a sign of my growing maturity, last year I would've just stopped going to class.
_____________
Went to the classics club today, saw I, Claudius (part five, including a very young Patrick Stewart) and ate my free pizza... no joke, the first real food I've had in three days. I have *got* to go grocery shopping. And told Michael and otherperson (not sure of name) about the AS, which is NOT what I'd meant to do... girl was playing with the blinds, and I heard it, and mentioned that she could just move them back if she wanted more light. She said that wasn't why she was doing it, and I didn't *say* it was really bothering me to keep hearing it, but I guess she guessed, they did that a bit more, thinking it was funny and I sorta flipped out at them, just "You know I'm mildly autistic, right? Which means I can't block out sounds so easily. You realize that means you're picking on an autistic girl, right?". Which is true, as far as it goes, but it's not a very fair thing to have said, it makes everything sound other than it is, and I wouldn't've brought the subject up like that if I hadn't been pissed, it was just a way to guilt them. So when I next see Michael (thursday in Latin) I'll apologise.
Still, he didn't say I was lying, and they quit it, so that was good.
