So very, very true. Our bigger cat, Ray, will come up to both kids and solicit petting (or fur-tugging in Ian's case). He will dodge if he's not in the mood, but often accepts an approach from our three-year-old.

I am frequently *baffled* by this cat. Pleasantly, but still baffled.
