I'm not really understanding your point. I don't see how it hurts the people who work on weekends. If anything, it makes their lives much easier, because when they have time off, everything is open. And then there are no difficulties about scheduling a doctor's appointment or getting your groceries or whatever else you need done done.
The problem with having everyone off on Sundays is that it hurts the people who work normal hours. I'm not suggesting that other people not have days off, just that their days off be on different days.
