I threw up seven times.
Dec. 9th, 2007 09:24 pmSEVEN FUCKING TIMES. Or maybe it was eight, I lose track.
Once an hour, at 22 past. I skipped 7:22 am (I managed to actually fall into a very uneasy sleep), but then I threw up at 8:22.
Couldn't even go to my own bed, it's much too far from the bathroom. I had to hang out in my mom's room.
And after all the throwing up was over, I still had dry heaves periodically. I wanted to take some midol, since I had some backaches which come with my period, but I felt that I couldn't keep it down if I did. Ate a little applesauce, paid for those two spoonfuls with two hours of feeling they were about to bolt back up.
I will say, without reservation, that today was the most miserable day of my life.
Eventually I reached a stage where I drifted in and out of consciousness, but it wasn't exactly what I'd call sleeping.
Woke up (kinda) with this awful pain in my stomach. I felt so horrible, along the lines of "What new horrors are coming????", but then I realized I was just hungry. Ate some more applesauce. Didn't feel like I'd throw up. After I still didn't for an hour or so, I finally took that midol, so that was good.
I don't know if I'll be able to watch the kids tomorrow, but on the other hand, Jenn was sick too. Maybe she won't be able to go to work either and we can both just stumble around the house in solidarity.
